A story hidden in a waterfall ...

Sri Lanka currently has some of the most spectacular waterfalls as well as fascinating views. However, there are various hidden stories in this waterfall that we have not seen. Another amazing place with such stories is Asupini Falls.

This waterfall is located on the Colombo-Kandy road. After passing Mahakanda, take the Gelioya road and proceed along the Uduwella road to see this beautiful place.

Asupini Falls is mainly named after a king who was one of the many queens of the time. While people get this experience, this is also the last trip of another group. The waterfall is about 30 meters long and has a beautiful stream of water.

 Ancient myth stories ........

According to ancient mythology, there were many kings, but one king was associated with this waterfall and this myth was created. That is, in connection with a mockery made by this king who had many queens. That is, every time this king went to war, the war situation foretold victory or defeat. In one such war a symbolic method was used to show the state of war. When the king had thus won, a king's cavalryman came to the nearby hill and hoisted the king's flag. If, unfortunately, the king dies, a horseman with a white flag will come to the same mountain, which means that the king has died at the hands of the enemy. Legend has it that he committed suicide by jumping from a hill near a waterfall.
